Coming in January - a "SIMCHAH"

Temple Tifereth Israel is very pleased to announce that it will be starting the secular new year with a very happy event. On Saturday, 22 January 2022. The Temple will join with the xxxx and Leah Tennen in celebrating their son Lev’s Bar Mitzvah at Temple Tifereth Israel. Lev attended and has graduated from the Temple's Hebrew School. Lev's Torah portion wil be Yitro (from the book of Exodus).

The Shabbat morning services will start at 9:30 am. Following the conclusion of the morning service, there will be a kiddush sponsored by the Tennen family.

For his Bar Mitzvah project, Lev has chosen to raise money for the St Francis House, which is a homeless shelter in Boston. To raise money, Lev will be doing challenges based on the money he receives for his Bar MItzvah. For example, if he reaches $1,000 in donations, he will have his brother bombard him with 3 fully loaded nerf guns.

Everyone is invited to help Lev achieve his goal of embarrassing himself on the internet by donating to the St Francis House. You can visit Lev’s website at http://levsbarmitzvah.com and you can make your donation via his web site. Please help Lev celebrate this very special occasion in his life and do a mitzvah by helping the homeless in Boston.

MAZEL TOV TO THE TENNEN FAMILY!
